Why Choose Core Values VBC?

With the start of the 2024-25 Season, this will be the 11th season for Core Values VBC! Our history:

Cynthia Dang, our founder and original director started Core Values VBC in 2014. Cynthia was long involved in Golden CARA and her first CARA team to start Core Values VBC. We have grown since that first team and are proud we still hold onto the original goals Cynthia and her husband Mike set for the club.

Core Values VBC offers a truly unique volleyball club experience in Jefferson County, CO.  We have year-round programs that work for a variety of commitment levels for athletes 12-18 years old.  The founder of Core Values VBC came from a competitive volleyball background and understands the physical, emotional, and financial stress that traditional club volleyball can put on a family. The Core Values Club Program was developed to eliminate a lot of that stress and still provide a quality club experience. We strive to keep our costs low (we are usually $400-$2000+ less than a lot of other clubs in our region!), and practice times and travel are reduced to allow for school and family obligations.

We hold our players to high academic and ethical standards and believe in helping our youth develop both on and off the volleyball court! We currently have players and alumni attending Lakewood HS, Golden HS, Ralston Valley HS, Littleton HS,  Arvada West HS, Wheat Ridge HS, Evergreen HS, Pomona HS, Bear Creek HS, Green Mountain HS, Standley Lake HS, Conifer HS, Chapparal HS, Legend HS, Dakota Ridge HS, Valor HS, Lincoln High School, Columbine HS, Highlands Ranch HS, Belleview Christian HS, Denver Christian HS, Holy Family HS, Mullen HS, Skyview HS, Douglas County HS, Lamar Community College, William Penn University, Cornell College, and many Jefferson and Douglas County middle and elementary schools.
